Opel Ampera 2020
Proyecto realizado para el concurso internacional de CarDesignNews 2012: Diseña el Opel Ampera del año 2020. Project made for the 2012 CarDesignNews international design contest: Design the 2020 Opel Ampera.
Las bases del concurso eran las de imaginar el futuro Opel Ampera para el año 2020, diseñando el interior y el exterior del coche. Para el exterior me inspiré en el antiguo Opel GT y decidí jugar con capas de superficies, creando entradas y salidas de aire que favorecieran la aerodinámica del coche. En el interior utilicé una gama de colores muy sencilla y natural. Quise ampliar y simplificar el espacio con la eliminación de elementos superfluos y la incorporación de varias zonas táctiles desde las que controlar las funciones secundarias del coche.
Desgraciadamente, este proyecto no superó el corte para entrar en la final. Aun así, creo que es un trabajo digno de mostrar.
The briefing of this competition was to imagine the future 2020 Opel Ampera -the exterior and interior of the car. For the exterior I was inspired by the old Opel GT and I combined surface layers to create air intakes and air exhausts, which improve the aerodynamics of the car. In the interior I used a simple and natural range of colors. I tried to simplify and extend the space removing unnecessary elements and putting two tactile screen from where you can control the secundary functions of the car.
Sadly, this project wasn't chosen for the final phase. However I think this is a good car to show!
